All of my favorite tips & tricks for a healthy lifestyle.

In my family New Year’s Celebration is quite the BIG deal. The first of January is not only my mother’s birthday, but it is also the time my family considers the absolute best time to write your own personal commitments for the next 12 months to come. It is a tradition of ours that we write one new “challenging goal” for each month of the year. If you do the math correctly, that’s 12 new things to accomplish and to look forward to throughout the year.

This past year I set myself up with my grandiose 12 “must do’s” and in all honesty I fell short of everything I originally planned to achieve. It was not lack of effort on my part nor poor motivation toward my goals, it was a fact much more simpler than that: Life happens.

To avoid further disappointment for my “unaccomplished matters”, this upcoming year I am TRULY forgetting about my resolutions and rather focus more on my “commandments”. Yes, you read it right! I’ve created 12 commandments that are not something to “accomplish” but a way of living.

Below are the statements that I will be practicing during 2016. Take a look (and please adopt them as your own if you wish!).

All worthwhile aims, don’t you agree? Let’s achieve greater things in life this upcoming year.

Please hop on the blog and share your goals, commandments, resolutions, ideas that will help you be a better you next year, I can’t wait to hear it all.

I wish you and your loved ones a Happy & Healthy 2016 from the top, bottom and center of my heart. I couldn’t be more grateful for your support and trust.

Psss… Don’t worry, your loyalty will be rewarded… There are new surprises coming your way really soon! Stay tuned.

Yours in Health,

There aren’t enough words to clearly express what this amazing woman has done for me both physically and emotionally. I owe my health and rehabilitation to Janise and her expertise. I am forever thankful for her guidance, counseling, and endless support. I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without her and her program…

My phrase for the last two months: "I am going to move to a small town and open a scone shop". Why? Because I love this vegan blueberry recipe and I want everyone to try it! My sweet-tooth is sometimes stronger than my savory-tooth. Every now and then I crave...

Undoubtedly, the quality of the food we ingest is very important. The philosophy of Yoga states that “he who commences the practices of Yoga without first controlling his diet becomes a victim of many diseases.” We all know that what we eat truly matters! Food not...
